Here is a guide to help you through the process.

Why is Umrah During Ramadan so Special?

Ramadan is the most blessed month in the Islamic calendar. This holy month of fasting brings many blessings in the believer’s life. The reward of every act of worship and good deed is multiplied during this sacred month. Performing Umrah during this sacred month allows pilgrims to combine Ramadan’s spiritual significance with the worship and devotion of visiting the holy city of Makkah.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 1782; Sahih Muslim 1256.

This Hadith is enough to explain the exceptional virtue of Umrah in Ramadan. Because of this, Ramadan is the peak season to perform Umrah.
