Class Structure for Kids
At Quran Horizon School, we ensure that every 30-minute one-on-one online session is engaging, interactive, and beneficial for our young learners. Our structured approach enhances learning while keeping kids motivated and excited.
Warm Welcome & Revision (First 5 Minutes)
Greeting & Interaction: We begin each session with a warm and friendly “As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh” to create a welcoming and Islamic atmosphere.
Student Check-in: We ask the child about their day to build a personal connection and make them feel comfortable.
Revision of the Last Lesson: We play the recording of the previous lesson (sent for home practice) to refresh their memory and prepare them for the new lesson.
Main Lesson (20 Minutes)
First, we focus on Quran learning, ensuring proper recitation, Tajweed, and memorization in an engaging way. Once we complete the Quran lesson, we move on to essential Islamic knowledge, where students learn about basic beliefs, the Five Pillars of Islam, Wudu, Salah, memorization of small Surahs, daily Duas, Islamic manners, and inspiring stories. We also record the child’s recitation for independent practice before the next session.
Fun & Motivation (Last 5 Minutes)
Interactive Games: We make learning enjoyable with engaging Islamic quizzes or activities.
Surprises & Rewards: To keep kids excited, we share fun challenges, virtual stars, and small rewards to motivate and encourage them.
